During the month of July 2004, a total of 153.0
acre-feet (AF) of water was used by golf course and open space users in the Del
Monte Forest area. Of this total: 116.0
AF of reclaimed water were produced by the CAWD/PBCSD Wastewater Reclamation
Project (Project); and 37.0 AF of potable water was provided by the
California-American Water Company. The Project has provided 590.0 AF, or
62 percent, of the water used for irrigation by the golf courses and
other open spaces within the Del Monte Forest area for the 2003-2004 water
year.
Exhibit 26-A lists quantities of reclaimed and potable water
use for the 2003-2004 water year from the Reclamation Project. The far right column shows the overall
percentage of reclaimed water used during each month.
The tables shown in Exhibit 26-B show reclaimed and potable
water used by the Project during water year 2002–2003 and calendar years 1995
through 2002.
